Job summary

Dignity Health’s Yavapai Regional Medical Center seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform a broad range of imaging exams including X-ray, CT, and MRI. You will maintain high-quality images, ensure safety protocols, and support physicians with films, CDs, and reports.

The role emphasizes patient interaction, accuracy, and efficient use of PACS/RCO systems to support timely diagnoses in a dynamic hospital environment.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED.
• AZ Radiographer license required.
• ARRT registered radiography.
• CT registered technologist or willing to obtain.
• Bone densitometry registered technologist preferred.
• American Heart Association CPR/BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Produce diagnostic images using X-ray, ultrasound, fluoroscopy, CT and MRI.
• Ensure patient safety and radiation protection.
• Maintain image quality and proper labeling with R/L markers.
• Operate hospital information systems (RCO, RadNet, PACS).
• Assist imaging team with locating films, CD loading, and report printing.
• Complete forms per protocol (incident reports, side/site forms).

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech), you will be pivotal in producing diagnostic images that enable Radiologists to accurately diagnose and manage patient conditions.

Each day, you will perform a variety of imaging examinations, including X-rays, ultrasound, diagnostic fluoroscopy, CT/CAT scans, and MRIs, while actively contributing to a positive patient experience through direct interaction.

To excel, you must deeply understand diagnostic imaging's critical importance, encompassing expertise in workflow, patient positioning, and capturing precise results essential for timely and accurate diagnoses.

• Utilizes good radiation safety practices for patients, self and others.Displays competency performing procedures; follows every step for taking an x-ray (two patient identifier, gel in/gel out, etc).

• Always produces high quality films. Accurately marks radiographs with R's and L's, supine and upright (ifappropriate); and assures that patient information is clearly visible.

• Competent in one or more areas of Diagnostic Radiology (fluoro, portables, OR, Litho, ED/Trauma)

• Understands the interrelation and operates the various computer systems such as RCO, Radnet, PACS and other hospital systems.

• Assists Imaging Support in locating films/images, loading CD's, printing reports and assisting physicians.

• Accurately and thoroughly completes hospital/department forms per protocol i.e. incident reports, side/siteforms, etc.

• Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT

• Registered Technologist Computed Tomography, or

• Registered Technologist Bone Densitometry

• American Heart Association

• Basic Life Support - CPR

• Six months radiology experience
