Job summary

Dignity Health's Chandler Regional Medical Center is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to produce diagnostic images that enable radiologists to accurately diagnose and manage patient conditions. You will perform X‑ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound, and fluoroscopy, while ensuring patient safety and excellent care.

Applicant must complete an approved Radiologic Technologist Program, hold AZ radiographer licensure, and ARRT registration, with BLS certification.

Qualifications

  • Completion of approved Radiologic Technologist Program (ACR).
  • AZ Medical Radiographer license required.
  • BLS for Healthcare Providers certification.
  • ARRT registration as Radiologic Technologist.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct imaging examinations (X‑ray, CT, fluoroscopy, MRI, ultrasound) with attention to patient comfort and safety.
  • Perform clerical tasks: order entry, film sign out, filing and retrieving films.
  • Operate teleradiology systems and radiology equipment across departments, operating rooms, and mobile settings.
  • Maintain room cleanliness, stock supplies, and ensure correct radiographic markings with patient details visible.

As our Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech), you will be pivotal in producing diagnostic images that enable Radiologists to accurately diagnose and manage patient conditions.
Each day, you will perform a variety of imaging examinations, including X-rays, ultrasound, diagnostic fluoroscopy, CT/CAT scans, and MRIs, while actively contributing to a positive patient experience through direct interaction.
To excel, you must deeply understand diagnostic imaging's critical importance, encompassing expertise in workflow, patient positioning, and capturing precise results essential for timely and accurate diagnoses.

  • Utilizes good radiation safety practices for patients, self and others by use of the available devices.
  • Able to perform the clerical functions of order entry and film sign out with the use of the computer system as well as being able to file/retrieve films and hang/remove films from film viewers.
  • Displays competency operating teleradiology system.
  • Displays competency operating equipment and performing procedures in the department, in the operating room, and on a mobile basis.
  • Maintains orderliness and cleanliness of work and assures that rooms are stocked with the necessary supplies and accessories.
  • Accurately marks all radiographs with side and position. Assures that the patient information is clearly visible.

  • Medical Radiographer: AZ,
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (CT CPRBLS)
