Qualifications

Job description

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic procedures using conventional radiology, including x-rays, ultrasound, CT/CAT scans, and MRIs.
• Ensure thorough and accurate imaging techniques for patient positioning according to the imaging order.
• Apply sterile techniques and safety practices routinely for patients, team members, and oneself.
• Troubleshoot, calibrate, and maintain radiology equipment to prevent failures, demonstrating mechanical aptitude and confidence.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Radiology Technology program.
• ARRT Board Certified in Radiology (RTR).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.

Preferred Qualifications

• Radiology experience preferred.

Overview

Join us at CHI St. Joseph's Health as a Radiology Technologist. You will assist in capturing diagnostic images to aid Radiologists in accurate diagnoses. This PRN casual position offers variety and flexible hours. No experience? No problem! We provide training.

You will perform a variety of imaging examinations, including x-rays, ultrasound, CT/CAT scans, and MRIs, and work directly with patients to enhance their experience. A strong understanding of diagnostic imaging, workflow, patient positioning, and accuracy in results is essential. You should be self-motivated, able to prioritize in a dynamic environment, and a team player with excellent communication and customer service skills.
