Job summary

6 Degrees Search is seeking a contract X-ray Technologist to perform general x-rays for rheumatology, orthopedics, and spine, with a Monday–Friday schedule and 8-hour shifts. Responsibilities include patient positioning, selecting technical factors, and maintaining radiographic standards for radiologist review.

Requires 1+ year experience, ARRT RT(R), BLS, and IEMA certifications, with high school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s preferred. Equal opportunity employer.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe, timely imaging in a clinical setting.

Seeking contract X-ray Technologist for

general x-rays for Rheumatology, Ortho and Spine.

Clinic Hours: Monday-Friday 8-hour shifts

• ion exposure to patients, families, and co-workers.
• Positions patients and equipment and selects technical factors to produce radiographic images meeting Radiologist’s standards in a safe, timely manner.
• Demonstrates the knowledge and skills to perform scans on patients of all ages, adapting protocols as necessary.
• Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Ability to analyze and assess data, techniques, methodology, equipment operation, and quality control to ensure that information is obtained and presented accurately [Required]
• Up-to-date knowledge of patient positioning and equipment operations, including x-ray producing equipment, if applicable per facility [Required]
• Ability to communicate appropriately and effectively with patients and their family, hospital staff, nurses, physicians, and other health care professionals [Required]
• Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in the health care industry [Required]
• Able to fully use all Radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment [Required]
• Must be able to read, write and speak conversational English [Required]
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office [Required]

Work Experience:

Pay Range:

55-65hr
