Job summary

6 Degrees Search is seeking a contract X-ray Technologist for general radiography across Rheumatology, Orthopedics and Spine in Lake Forest, IL.

The role requires 1+ year experience, BLS, RT(R), and IEMA certification, with Monday-Friday 8-hour shifts. Pay range is $55-$65 per hour and the facility is an equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Analyze and assess data, techniques, equipment operation, and quality control to ensure information is accurate.
• Up-to-date knowledge of patient positioning and equipment operations.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, hospital staff, physicians, and other health care professionals.
• Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in the health care industry.
• Able to fully use radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment.
• Read, write and speak conversational English.
• Basic computer skills and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Position patients and equipment and select technical factors to produce radiographs meeting radiologist standards safely and promptly.
• Perform scans on patients of all ages, adapting protocols as necessary.

Seeking contract X-ray Technologist for

general x-rays for Rheumatology, Ortho and Spine.

Clinic Hours: Monday-Friday 8-hour shifts

• ion exposure to patients, families, and co-workers.
• Positions patients and equipment and selects technical factors to produce radiographic images meeting Radiologist’s standards in a safe, timely manner.
• Demonstrates the knowledge and skills to perform scans on patients of all ages, adapting protocols as necessary.
• Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Ability to analyze and assess data, techniques, methodology, equipment operation, and quality control to ensure that information is obtained and presented accurately [Required]
• Up-to-date knowledge of patient positioning and equipment operations, including x-ray producing equipment, if applicable per facility [Required]
• Ability to communicate appropriately and effectively with patients and their family, hospital staff, nurses, physicians, and other health care professionals [Required]
• Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in the health care industry [Required]
• Able to fully use all Radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment [Required]
• Must be able to read, write and speak conversational English [Required]
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office [Required]

Education:

Work Experience:

Licenses and Certifications:

Pay Range:
