Job summary

Ashton North LLC is seeking a contract X-ray Technologist to perform general x-rays for Rheumatology, Orthopedics and Spine. Clinic Hours: Monday-Friday 8-hour shifts.

The technologist will position patients and equipment, select technical factors, and ensure radiographic images meet Radiologist standards in a safe, timely manner. The role requires the ability to read, write and speak conversational English, plus ARRT RT(R) registration and CPR certification, with the option of an Associate or

Qualifications

• Ability to analyze and assess data, techniques, methodology, equipment operation, and quality control to ensure information is obtained accurately.
• Up-to-date knowledge of patient positioning and equipment operations, including x-ray producing equipment.
• Ability to communicate appropriately and effectively with patients, families, hospital staff, nurses, physicians, and health care professionals.
• Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in the health care industry.
• Able to fully use Radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment.
• Must be able to read, write and speak conversational English.
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Work Experience:

• 1+ years experience [Required]

Licenses and Certifications:

• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
• Registered Technologist - Radiography RT(R) (ARRT) [Required]
• IEMA [Required]

Pay Range:

55-65hr
