Job summary

Htprof in Long Grove, IL seeks a skilled Radiologic Technologist to perform general x-rays for Rheumatology, Orthopedics and Spine. You will position patients, operate radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment, and produce images meeting Radiologist standards.

The role requires ARRT RT(R) certification, BLS, IEMA registration, and 1+ year of experience, with strong patient communication and documentation skills. Evening shift flexibility may be needed.

Qualifications

• Must have High School diploma or equivalent.
• Associate or higher degree preferred.
• 1+ year of experience in radiography required.
• BLS CPR certification required.
• ARRT RT(R) radiography license required.
• IEMA certification/registration required.

Responsibilities

• Position patients and equipment to produce radiographs meeting radiologist standards.
• Demonstrate knowledge to perform scans on patients of all ages with adjustable protocols.
• Maintain safety, quality control and timely imaging procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Clinic Hours: Monday-Friday 8-hour shifts

• ion exposure to patients, families, and co-workers.
• Positions patients and equipment and selects technical factors to produce radiographic images meeting Radiologist's standards in a safe, timely manner.
• Demonstrates the knowledge and skills to perform scans on patients of all ages, adapting protocols as necessary.
• Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Ability to analyze and assess data, techniques, methodology, equipment operation, and quality control to ensure that information is obtained and presented accurately [Required]
• Up-to-date knowledge of patient positioning and equipment operations, including x-ray producing equipment, if applicable per facility [Required]
• Ability to communicate appropriately and effectively with patients and their family, hospital staff, nurses, physicians, and other health care professionals [Required]
• Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in the health care industry [Required]
• Able to fully use all Radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment [Required]
• Must be able to read, write and speak conversational English [Required]
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office [Required]

Work Experience:

• 1+ years experience [Required]

Licenses and Certifications:

• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]

Pay Range:

55-65hr
