Job Description: Radiologic Technologist I

Salary Range: $38.5000-$59.4800/hour. Actual compensation may vary based on geographic location, work experience, skill level, and education.

All Radiologic Technologists are state and nationally registered professionals. Under the supervision of the technical supervisor and medical director, the Radiologic Technologist I demonstrates proficiency in all skills required to competently perform general diagnostic radiologic procedures at all levels. Performs other duties as assigned. All Radiologic Technologists project professionalism in communication, appearance, and conduct, supporting the Radiology Department's mission. They participate in continuous quality improvement processes while maintaining knowledge of and adherence to departmental and organizational policies and procedures, including specialized instrumentation, quality control, and regulatory requirements such as Title 22 and Title 17 in California. Performs other duties that comply with laws and regulations and do not require personnel with special licensure.

Radiology Department only:

Accurately identify patient information and take all necessary measures to provide age-specific care. Educate the patient and family about the examination, report changes in the patient’s status, and initiate emergency responses if needed. Document all patient information accurately in hospital systems.

Education and Experience

• Associates Degree or higher.
• Graduate of an ARRT-approved Radiologic Technology program.
• License Required: California Radiologic Technologist (CRT) License & Fluoroscopy Permit. Fluoroscopy may be obtained within 6 months of hire if a new graduate.
• Certifications Required: AHA BLS Certification; ARRT Radiology Certification.
