Role Summary

At Concentra, you will be a vital member of our patient care team, providing exceptional care and supporting our mission to improve the health of America's workforce. The Radiologic Technologist & Medical Support Specialist performs routine x-ray examinations under supervision, ensuring quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for radiologic procedures, assist with positioning, and ensure safety and comfort.
• Operate radiologic equipment, produce diagnostic images, and adjust controls accordingly.
• Follow radiation safety measures and maintain equipment in good working order.
• Complete all documentation and ensure workflow compliance.

Additional Duties

• Perform medical support tasks including DOT/non-DOT testing, vital signs, specimen collection, and assisting providers.
• Maintain supplies, clean and organize the facility, and ensure proper documentation and equipment calibration.
• Handle clerical duties, maintain patient flow, and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program.
• Active ARRT certification and state licensure.
• CPR/First Aid certification.

Experience & Skills

• At least six months of medical assistant experience preferred.
• Knowledge of occupational medicine and healthcare procedures.
• Strong customer service, confidentiality, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and medical documentation systems.
