Job summary

Commonwealth Pain and Spine is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to support imaging procedures using a C-Arm and related equipment in Elizabethtown, KY. The role requires ARRT certification and current state licensure, with at least one year of C-Arm experience.

Responsibilities include preparing exam rooms, maintaining sterility, ensuring documentation accuracy, and assisting physicians during procedures. EMR and MS Outlook experience are preferred, with a patient-focused, team-oriented

Qualifications

• Completion of an ARRT approved school of radiologic technology.
• Current state radiologic license or certificate as required by law.
• Minimum 1+ year experience operating a C-Arm; positive, upbeat demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Maintains cleanliness, sanitation and maintenance of procedure and exam rooms in accordance with OSHA.
• Prepare C-arm for procedures and patients.
• Set up procedure room for MD.
• Verify accuracy of patient documentation and time outs prior to procedure.
• Positioning patient on procedure table.
• Operate C-Arm and all imaging during procedures.
• Assist physicians with all procedures.
• Coordinate with anesthesia staff to ensure patient comfort and safety.
• Track clinic inventory and medications.
• Order necessary medications and supplies as needed.
• Assist Recovery with transitioning patient from table to wheelchair.
• All other duties as assigned.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintains cleanliness, sanitation and maintenance of procedure and exam rooms, in compliance with OSHA


• Prepare C-arm for procedures and patients


• Set up procedure room for MD


• Verify accuracy of all patient documentation and time outs prior to procedure


• Positioning patient on procedure table


• Operating C-Arm and all imaging during procedures


• Assist physicians with all procedures


• Works alongside Anesthesia employees to ensure quality patient experience


• Tracking all clinic inventory and medicine


• Orders necessary medications such as steroids, Botox, and other supplies as needed


• Assist Recovery with transitioning patient from table to wheelchair


• All other duties as assigned

Skills And Abilities

• EMR experience required


• MS Outlook experience preferred

Education and Experience

• Completion of an ARRT approved school of radiologic technology.


• Current state Radiologic License(s)/certificate(s) as required by federal and state regulations.


• 1+ Years’ experience operating a C-Arm, preferred


• Positive and upbeat personality required

Physical Requirements

The physical demands of this position will include sitting and standing with occasional light to medium lifting. Ability to help lift patients and transport in wheelchair from clinic to parking lot.
