Job summary

Commonwealth Pain & Spine is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to assist during procedures, operate the C-Arm, and ensure proper patient positioning and documentation at Elizabethtown Clinic in Kentucky.

The ideal candidate completed an ARRT-approved radiologic technology program, holds the required state radiologic license, and has at least 1 year of C-Arm experience. You will work with physicians, anesthesia staff, and the clinic team to deliver safe, efficient imaging services.

Qualifications

• ARRT-approved radiologic technology program completed.
• Current state radiologic license as required by regulations.
• 1+ year of experience operating a C-Arm preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of procedure and exam rooms per OSHA.
• Prepare C-arm for procedures and patients; set up procedure room for MD.
• Verify accuracy of patient documentation and time-outs prior to procedure.
• Position patient on procedure table and operate C-Arm during procedures.
• Assist physicians and anesthesia staff to ensure quality patient experience.
• Track clinic inventory and medications; order necessary supplies.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintains cleanliness, sanitation and maintenance of procedure and exam rooms, in compliance with OSHA
• Prepare C-arm for procedures and patients
• Set up procedure room for MD
• Verify accuracy of all patient documentation and time outs prior to procedure
• Positioning patient on procedure table
• Operating C-Arm and all imaging during procedures
• Assist physicians with all procedures
• Works alongside Anesthesia employees to ensure quality patient experience
• Tracking all clinic inventory and medicine
• Orders necessary medications such as steroids, Botox, and other supplies as needed
• Assist Recovery with transitioning patient from table to wheelchairAll other duties as assigned

Education and Experience

• Completion of an ARRT approved school of radiologic technology.
• Current state Radiologic License(s)/certificate(s) as required by federal and state regulations.
• 1+ Years’ experience operating a C-Arm, preferred
• Positive and upbeat personality required

Physical Requirements:

The physical demands of this position will include sitting and standing with occasional light to medium lifting. Ability to help lift patients and transport in wheelchair from clinic to parking lot.
