Job summary

UCHealth in Colorado Springs is seeking a full-time Radiologic Technologist to provide high-quality imaging services and patient care. This role involves reviewing patient history and initiating radiographic images according to physician orders.

Qualifications

• Registered as a Radiologic Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
• State licensure if required by law.

Department: Radiology Diagnostic

Employess Type: Full Time, 1.0, 80.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)

Shift: Nights

Pay: $28.38 - $39.74 per hour. Shift differential for evenings, nights and weekends included. Pay depends on applicant’s relevant experience.

Relocation bonus may apply for qualified candidates.

Minimum Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
• Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (R) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Specialty ARRT certification(s) if required for position.
• State licensure if required by law.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.
• CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date; BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Review patient history and initiate radiographic images based on physician orders.
• Prioritize and provide procedural patient education to ensure mutual understanding and cooperation.
• Safely administer contrast media or imaging medications while monitoring patient condition.
• Respond to and report changes in patient condition as appropriate.
• Implement techniques to produce clear images and maintain quality control and equipment functionality based on established best practices in Radiology (AART).
