Pay: $28.38 – $39.74 per hour, dependent on applicant's relevant experience.
This is an onsite position and does not offer a hybrid or remote option.
Minimum Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
- Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (R) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- State licensure if required by law.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification.
- Specialty ARRT certification(s) if required for the position.
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer, with a valid card before the start date and maintained through sixty days of hire.
Responsibilities
- Provide top‑of‑scope practice in direct patient care by performing various imaging and radiologic procedures.
- Value a multidisciplinary team approach to achieve exceptional outcomes.
- Model proficiency by precepting new imaging staff and/or UCHealth personnel.
- Welcome new knowledge in a fast‑paced, innovative clinical environment.
- Contribute to secure safety and quality at the point of care.
- Review patient history, initiate radiographic images based on physician order, and prioritize procedural patient education.
- Safely administer contrast media or associated imaging medications while monitoring patient condition.
- Respond to and report changes in patient condition as appropriate.
- Implement techniques to yield clarity in image quality, quality control, and equipment functionality based on best practices in radiology (ARRT).
