Location: UCHealth Grandview Hospital, Colorado Springs, CO, USA

Department: GV Radiology

Work schedule: PRN, 0.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)

Shift: Flex

Pay: $28.38 – $39.74 per hour, dependent on applicant's relevant experience.

This is an onsite position and does not offer a hybrid or remote option.

Minimum Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
• Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (R) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• State licensure if required by law.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification.
• Specialty ARRT certification(s) if required for the position.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer, with a valid card before the start date and maintained through sixty days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide top‑of‑scope practice in direct patient care by performing various imaging and radiologic procedures.
• Value a multidisciplinary team approach to achieve exceptional outcomes.
• Model proficiency by precepting new imaging staff and/or UCHealth personnel.
• Welcome new knowledge in a fast‑paced, innovative clinical environment.
• Contribute to secure safety and quality at the point of care.
• Review patient history, initiate radiographic images based on physician order, and prioritize procedural patient education.
• Safely administer contrast media or associated imaging medications while monitoring patient condition.
• Respond to and report changes in patient condition as appropriate.
• Implement techniques to yield clarity in image quality, quality control, and equipment functionality based on best practices in radiology (ARRT).
