Job summary

AvaMed Workforce is seeking a Radiologic Technologist for a part-time or full-time assignment at a correctional facility in Corcoran, CA. Responsibilities

• Develop and process X-ray exposures.
• Comply with Diagnostic Imaging exam protocols.
• Consult with Radiologist or ordering provider when necessary for clarification.
• Provide emergency medical support to medical staff in case of adverse reactions.
• Utilise proper identification marker prior to procedure.

AvaMed Workforce is a Healthcare Staffing Agency that staffs all of California State Correctional Facilities. At the moment we are in URGENT need of a Radiologic Technologist to take on a Part-Time OR Full-Time assignment at the correctional facility located in Corcoran, CA

Position Details:

• 20-40 hours per week
• Location: Corcoran, CA
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm OR Wednesday 8:00am-12:00pm/Thursday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm
• (2 week Orientation)
• Rate: $44/hr ($880-$1,760/week) Local Rate OR $50/hr ($1,000-$2.00/week) Traveler Rate

• Must have a license from the California Department of Public Health-Radiologic Health Branch (CDPH-RHB)
• Must have 1 full-year of experience as a licensedRadiologic Technologist

Job Description:

Under the direction of the Institution's designee, the Temporary/Relief Temporary/Relief Radiologic Technologists duties/responsibilities shall include, but are not limited to, the following requirements:

• a. Develop and process X-Ray exposures;
• b. Comply with all exam protocols as established by the Diagnostic Imaging department;
• c. Consult with Radiologist or ordering medical provider when necessary for purposes of clarification;
• d. Provide emergency medical support to medical providers in the event of allergic reaction to injected radiological contrast or any other medical emergency;
• e. Utilise proper identification marker prior to procedure;
