Job Title : IR Tech (Interventional Radiology Technologist)

Shift : 8:00 am – 5:00 pm

Schedule : 5x8-hour shifts / week (40 hours per week)

Pay : $80-84 / hr | $3,360 / wk (gross)

Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced IR Tech for a contract opportunity in Rochester, NY. The ideal candidate will be responsible for selecting exposure factors, positioning, and consistently producing radiologic images of diagnostic quality. The IR Tech will instruct and prepare patients for examinations and assist Radiologists during procedures. The candidate must demonstrate competency in the use of Hospital Information System (HIS), Radiology Information System (RIS), and PACS.

Interventional Radiology Technologists play a crucial role in interventional radiology, working alongside physicians to diagnose and treat various conditions using techniques like digital subtraction angiography, ultrasound, fluoroscopy, and CT scans.

Required Qualifications :

• Active New York State License (Primary Source Verification required)
• AHA BLS Certification
• VIR Certification is highly preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of recent IR Tech experience
