Schedule: Full Time / 40 hours/week / M-F 8a-5p

Role Overview

The Radiologic Technologist & Medical Support Specialist performs routine x-ray examinations under supervision, supporting other facility needs. This role requires efficient, accurate patient care in a fast-paced environment, ensuring quality and safety in radiologic procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assist patients during radiologic procedures, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Operate radiologic equipment, produce diagnostic images, and adjust controls per specifications.
• Use radiation safety measures and ensure equipment functionality.
• Maintain documentation, equipment calibration, and quality assurance procedures.

Medical Assistant Duties

• Conduct DOT and non-DOT drug testing, prepare patients for exams, and assist providers.
• Perform routine procedures, manage supplies, and maintain facility cleanliness.
• Handle clerical tasks, ensure accurate documentation, and follow HIPAA guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program.
• Active ARRT certification and state licensure.
• CPR/First Aid certification.

Experience & Skills

• At least six months of medical assistant experience preferred.
• Knowledge of occupational medicine and medical procedures.
• Strong customer service, confidentiality, and communication skills.
