Must be willing to float within the Atlanta market to support various specialists at different clinics. Bachelor’s degree and specialist experience preferred. Supervisory or leadership experience is also preferred.

Bonus: up to $5,000

The Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech) & Medical Support Specialist (MSS) conducts routine x-ray exams following Concentra's guidelines and under direct clinician supervision. This role involves assisting in various areas of the facility, providing efficient patient care, and ensuring a positive patient experience.

Responsibilities

Radiologic Technologist Responsibilities

• Prepare and assist patients for radiology procedures, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Operate radiologic equipment to produce diagnostic images, following safety protocols.
• Maintain and report on the functionality of radiologic equipment.
• Ensure adherence to radiology workflows and proper documentation.
• Understand and maintain MRI, CT, X-ray equipment.

Medical Support Specialist Responsibilities

• Conduct DOT and Non-DOT drug and alcohol testing.
• Perform rapid screening tests.
• Assist providers during examinations and procedures.
• Perform routine medical procedures and triage patients.
• Dispense medications, apply bandages, dressings, and splints.
• Ensure accurate documentation and HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program with state certification
• Active ARRT registration with current certification
• CPR/First Aid certification

Experience and Skills

• At least six months of medical assistant experience and knowledge of medical procedures and terminology
• Knowledge of occupational medicine requirements preferred
• Service mentality, attention to detail, sense of urgency, initiative, flexibility
• Decision-making and problem-solving skills
• Outstanding customer service and professionalism
• Ability to handle sensitive information in compliance with HIPAA
• Verbal and written communication skills
