Job summary

Advocate Health's Diagnostic Radiology Department in Milwaukee seeks a full-time Radiologic Technologist for the second shift. You will perform fluoroscopic and general radiography procedures, interact with patients, and support Radiologists in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Required: Wisconsin radiographer license, ARRT RT, and BLS within 6 months. Pay ranges from $28.55 to $46.05 per hour with a sign-on bonus up to $6,000 and benefits eligibility.

Qualifications

• Wisconsin radiographer license required.
• ARRT RT registration required.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic and intermediate radiographic procedures including general diagnostic and fluoroscopic.
• Explains procedures and obtains clinical history from patients.
• Positions patients and selects exposure factors with proper radiation safety.
• Identifies and labels images; ensures exam accuracy and patient charges.
• Assists and consults with Radiologists; maintains records and billing codes.
