Job summary

Sarasota Memorial Health Care System is seeking a Radiologic Technologist specializing in mammography. Under the direction of a Radiologist, you will perform radiographic procedures with independent judgment to support diagnostic imaging.

The role requires ARRT-certified radiology with mammography credentials, BLS, and Florida licensure. The department is Mammo_VNA, with flexible shifts across urgent care locations, including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Board Certification in Radiology and Mammography is required.
• Licensure and certifications (ARRT, BLS, FL RT) required.
• Two years experience in screening mammography preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic procedures under the direction of a Radiologist.
• Apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis.
• Assume responsibility for designated areas or procedures as needed.

Performs a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment, with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis. Assumes responsibility for designated areas or procedures as required.

Preferred License And Certs

Our urgent care centers are open 7 days a week, 8am-8pm. Evenings, weekends and holidays are required. Additionally, shifts can vary from 8 hour shifts to 10 and 12 hour shifts. Flexibility to work at all 7 of our urgent care locations is also required, however schedule location preferences will be taken into consideration.
