Job summary

Sarasota Memorial Health Care System seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform radiographic procedures under a Radiologist's direction, at a technical level with independent judgment. The role supports diagnostic imaging and interventional procedures as required.

Urgent care centers operate 7 days a week from 8am to 8pm; shifts may be 8, 10 or 12 hours, with travel across seven urgent care locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Licenses required: ARRT (Amer Reg Rad Technologist); BLS Basic Life Support/CPR; Florida Radiologic Tech; RTR: Registered Tech Radiology.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic procedures with a level of independence and clinical judgment.
• Maintain designated areas and procedures as required.
• Adhere to safety and quality standards in radiologic imaging.

Job Summary

Under the direction of a Radiologist, performs radiographic procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail. Technologist will perform a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis and / or intervention. Technologist will assume responsibility for all designated areas and procedures as required.

• FL RT: Florida Radiologic Tech
• RTR: Registered Tech Radiology

Preferred License and Certs

Our urgent care centers are open 7 days a week 8am-8pm. Evenings, weekends and holidays are required. Additionally, shifts can vary from 8 hour shifts to 10 and 12 hour shifts. Flexibility to work at all 7 of our urgent care locations is also required, however schedule location preferences will be taken into consideration.
