Job summary

Nebraska Methodist Health System is seeking a Radiologic Technologist for the Millard Urgent Care in Omaha. The role involves performing radiographic procedures within the license scope and delivering patient-centered care.

The candidate should be enrolled at the senior level in a Radiologic Technology program, with a RAD.TEMP/RAD.LIM license requirement and BLS preferred and required within 3 months of hire. On-site position with evening/weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Senior-level enrollment in a Radiologic Technology degree program.
• Temporary Medical Radiographer (RAD.TEMP) or Limited Radiologic Technologist (RAD.LIM) license for work state required.
• Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) strongly preferred at time of hire, required within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs limited diagnostic radiographic procedures within scope of license. Radiographic procedures must not include CT, administration of contrast media, fluoroscopy or mammography.
• Provides age-specific patient care in a holistic manner.
• Provides patient education and responds to patient and customer concerns.
• Completes documentation of patient x-ray records and Quality Control processes.
• Performs value-added activities that support financial performance and patient satisfaction.
