Job summary

Nebraska Methodist Health System is seeking a Radiologic Technologist for an Urgent Care Clinic in Gretna. The role performs diagnostic imaging tests in evenings and every other weekend, with a $2,500 sign-on bonus.

The ideal candidate holds ARRT licensure, an appropriate degree, and 1 year of radiology experience. Strong patient interaction, accuracy, and workflow skills are essential in a fast-paced urgent care setting.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Associate degree in Radiologic Technology is required.
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• 1 year of radiology experience is preferred.
• Current radiologic license and ARRT certification are required.
• BLS certification is preferred and must be obtained within 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Identify patients with two identifiers and ensure understanding of the procedure.
• Manage department workflow with minimal supervision and assist staff.
• Use RIS/Cerner to modify orders and document exposures/repeats.
• Demonstrate knowledge of PACS, digital dictation, and image workflow.
• Follow department policies for patient identification and confidentiality.
• Provide on-the-job training and support for students and staff.
