Job summary

Trinity Health Of New England is seeking a Part-time X-Ray Tech II to operate radiographic equipment and perform mammography according to radiologist specifications. The role supports radiologists in sterile procedures and cares for patients across all ages.

The ideal candidate holds an Associate’s degree in Science, ARRT registration, Massachusetts license in radiography and mammography, CPR, and at least two years of post-education radiologic experience.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Science or equivalent; graduate of accredited diagnostic radiography program.
• ARRT registration and current state radiography and mammography license.
• Minimum 2 years clinical internship and 2 years post-educational experience as Radiologic Technologist.
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs general radiography and mammography.
• Positions patients to obtain diagnostic results and applies protective shields.
• Performs related clerical tasks such as scheduling, filing and phone calls.
• Educates patients and families to ensure understanding of care provided.
• Performs equipment quality checks per department procedures.
• Produces high-quality radiographs and digital images with minimal radiation dose while following orders.
• Demonstrates problem solving and teamwork through effective communication.
