Job summary

CareSpot Urgent Care in Florida is hiring an X-Ray Tech to prepare patients for and perform radiologic procedures, while supporting clinicians as needed. A typical day includes imaging, maintaining ALARA standards, keeping logs, and assisting with front-office tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and radiologic licensure.
• BLS certification is required.
• Ability to pass Level II background screening and AHCA clearance.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and performing x-rays within scope of practice.
• Practicing patient shielding and ALARA standards.
• Keeping an accurate log of exams performed, including documenting LMP and shielding.
• Verifying condition of network and x-ray server.
• Cleaning cassettes, table, and chest board after each procedure.
• Performing additional front and back-office duties as required, including collecting payments.
