Job summary

Piedmont Newton Hospital in Covington, GA is seeking a Radiologic Tech (Days) to operate radiologic equipment and perform diagnostic imaging. You will provide patient services across age groups and support advanced imaging including fluoroscopy and lumbar punctures.

Candidates must have AMA/JRCERT approved education, 2 years of experience, and ARRT and BCLS certifications upon hire. This is a full-time imaging position based in Covington.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.
• 2 years experience required.

Responsibilities

• Operates radiologic equipment to make clinical diagnostic radiographs and performs routine diagnostic procedures.
• Provides patient services using imaging modalities with care for all ages.
• Demonstrates ability to perform advanced diagnostic imaging (fluoroscopy).
• Performs more complex technical care to meet patient needs.

Responsibilities:

Operates radiologic equipment to make clinical diagnostic radiographs and performs routine diagnostic procedures according to established standards and practices. Provide patient services using imaging modalities. Provides patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics. Demonstrates ability to perform advance diagnostic imaging (Fluoroscopy and Lumbar punctures). Provides more complex technical care necessary to meet identified patient needs.

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program Required
