Job summary

Piedmont Newton Hospital is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging and fluoroscopy procedures in a patient-centered environment. The role covers neonatal to geriatric care, ensuring high-quality imaging and patient safety.

The ideal candidate has AMA/JRCERT training, 2 years of experience, and ARRT/BCLS certifications to hire. Collaboration with the radiology team and adherence to established standards are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.
• 2 years experience required.
• ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (R) Upon Hire Required and
• BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required

Responsibilities

• Operates radiologic equipment to make clinical diagnostic radiographs and performs routine diagnostic procedures according to established standards and practices.
• Provide patient services using imaging modalities.
• Provides patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.
• Demonstrates ability to perform advance diagnostic imaging (Fluoroscopy and Lumbar punctures).

Operates radiologic equipment to make clinical diagnostic radiographs and performs routine diagnostic procedures according to established standards and practices. Provide patient services using imaging modalities. Provides patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics. Demonstrates ability to perform advance diagnostic imaging (Fluoroscopy and Lumbar punctures). Provides more complex technical care necessary to meet identified patient needs.
