Job summary

Piedmont Newton Hospital is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic radiographs and advanced imaging per established standards. You will provide patient services across neonatal to geriatric populations and operate fluoroscopy equipment. Upon hire, ARRT certification and BCLS are required, with a minimum of two years of experience in radiologic imaging.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in radiologic imaging.

Responsibilities

• Operates radiologic equipment to make clinical diagnostic radiographs and performs routine diagnostic procedures according to established standards and practices.
• Provides patient services using imaging modalities.
• Provides patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.
• Demonstrates ability to perform advanced diagnostic imaging (fluoroscopy and lumbar punctures).
• Provides more complex technical care necessary to meet identified patient needs.
