Job summary

Piedmont Newton Hospital is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to operate imaging equipment and provide diagnostic radiographs per established standards. You will deliver patient care across diverse age groups, from neonatal to geriatric, using various imaging modalities.

Responsibilities include performing advanced imaging such as fluoroscopy and lumbar punctures, and delivering complex technical care to meet patient needs. AMA/JRCERT accredited training and ARRT certification are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.
• Minimum 2 years of radiologic technology experience.
• ARRT certification required; Basic Life Support (BCLS) required.

Responsibilities

• Operates radiologic equipment to produce clinical diagnostic radiographs per established standards.
• Provides patient services using imaging modalities.
• Delivers patient care across neonatal to geriatric populations.
• Demonstrates ability to perform advanced diagnostic imaging (fluoroscopy and lumbar punctures).
• Provides more complex technical care to meet identified patient needs.

Operates radiologic equipment to make clinical diagnostic radiographs and performs routine diagnostic procedures according to established standards and practices. Provide patient services using imaging modalities. Provides patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics. Demonstrates ability to perform advance diagnostic imaging (Fluoroscopy and Lumbar punctures). Provides more complex technical care necessary to meet identified patient needs.
