Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of an approved radiologic technology program.
• Current ARRT registration or registry-eligible with 90 days of employment, and temporary state license.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Verify physician order and procedure to ensure accuracy.
• Independently operate imaging equipment to complete procedures per protocol.
• Review patient images for diagnostic quality before transmission.
• Use radiology information systems to facilitate care.
• Explain procedures to patients to ensure understanding.
• Assist in department operations (inventory, staff schedules, equipment maintenance).
