Job summary

Scripps Health is seeking a Radiology Technician to join the Imaging team at Scripps Coastal Medical Center in Carlsbad. This full-time role covers 80 hours per pay period, Monday–Friday with alternating shifts, including holiday rotation and floating to Cedar, San Marcos, Oceanside, Jefferson, and Encinitas MOB.

Responsibilities include performing diagnostic radiology procedures, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining equipment and records in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Qualifications

• CRT required.
• Fluoro eligibility with requirement to obtain Fluoro within 6 months of hire.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Completion of a formal Radiology Technology program from an approved school.
• Excellent interpersonal skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiologic imaging procedures per department protocol.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging.
• Maintain equipment, records, and comply with quality and safety standards.

Job description

New Hire Incentive available up to $8,000 for those who qualify.

This is a full-time position (80 hours per pay period) working Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, alternating every other week from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. The role includes holiday rotation coverage at Jefferson to support Urgent Care and requires floating to surrounding outpatient locations based on business needs, including Cedar, San Marcos, Oceanside, Jefferson, and Encinitas MOB.

This position is based out of Scripps Coastal Medical Center - Carlsbad.
