Job summary

UAB Medicine in Birmingham, AL is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform basic radiologic procedures under the supervision of a Radiologist and Imaging Manager. You will operate within established protocols to produce diagnostic images and maintain responsibility for assigned procedures or work areas.

Qualified candidates are graduates of an accredited Associate Degree Radiography program, with BLS certification either already held or obtained within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an Associate Degree Radiography program accredited by ARRT acceptable mechanism.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from American Heart Association required or obtained within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic radiologic procedures at UAB community clinics.
• Operates within established protocols to produce diagnostic images using ionizing radiation.
• Maintains responsibility for assigned procedures or work areas.
