Job summary

UAB Medicine is seeking a Part-time Radiologic Technologist to perform radiological procedures under a radiologist's supervision. The role requires ARRT registration within one year, CPR certification, and a minimum of one year in general radiography.

The position offers flexible part-time shifts with education benefits, PTO, and PSLF-affiliated programs for eligible employees. You will contribute to accreditation efforts and patient care across Alabama’s largest health network.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required. Work experience may not substitute education.
• ARRT registration in radiography or registry eligible required. Must become registered within one year of hire.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
• One year experience in general radiography preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiological procedures under direction of a radiologist.
• Apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiological diagnosis with independent judgment.
• Assist with quality control and contribute to training and committee work.
