Qualifications

• Requires graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program with ARRT (R) registration.
• BLS Healthcare Provider certification (AHA/Red Cross) required before start date.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Reviews patient history, physician orders, and scheduling; educates patient about procedures and equipment.
• Prepares and administers contrast media and/or medications as appropriate; monitors patient condition.
• Sets exposure factors and imaging parameters; ensures safety and quality control; troubleshoots equipment as needed.
• Positions patient and performs imaging procedures; analyzes results and addresses image quality issues; transmits images.
