Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
• Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) (R).
• State licensure if required by law.
• CPR/BLS through AHA or Red Cross with card on-hand before start date.

Responsibilities

• Reviews patient history and physician orders; schedules imaging procedures.
• Educates patients about procedures, equipment and exam to ensure understanding.
• Prepares and administers contrast media within scope of practice; monitors patient condition.
• Positions patients, performs imaging procedures and ensures quality; troubleshoots equipment as needed.
