Job summary

UCHealth CU Orthopedics Broomfield located in Broomfield, CO, seeks a PRN Radiologic Technologist to perform imaging procedures in accordance with organizational standards. This onsite role offers a structured career ladder and a pay range of $28.38–$39.74 per hour, dependent on experience.

Responsibilities include patient education, contrast administration within scope, quality control, image transmission, and collaboration with radiology teams. Strong ARRT registration and BLS/CPR are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification current.
• BLS/CPR certification through AHA or ARC and valid through 60 days after start.

Responsibilities

• Reviews patient history, physician orders, and schedules exams; educates patients about procedures and equipment.
• Prepares and administers contrast media and/or medications within scope of practice; monitors patient condition and responds to changes.
• Prepares equipment, selects exposure factors, and ensures safety and quality control; troubleshoots equipment issues as needed.
• Positions patients and performs imaging procedures; analyzes results and addresses image quality issues.
• Demonstrates critical thinking, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
