Position Summary

Under general supervision of Technical Group Leadership and Chief Technologist Operations, the Radiologic Technologist provides skill and initiative to the department mission through interactions with staff, the Chief Technologist, and others as necessary. Primary duties are to work as technologist on either East Newton or Harrison Avenue campus while also implementing policy and procedures as determined necessary through the Radiology Supervisor, Operations Manager, and Radiology Administration Director.

Education

• Completion of two years post‑high school training in an approved school of Radiologic Technology.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Required

• State license required and all applicable radiology education requirements.
• RTR and ARRT required.

Experience

• 1‑4 years of experience preferred.

Knowledge and Skills

• Knowledge of principles and procedures of diagnostic radiology practices and the operation and maintenance of radiologic equipment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills sufficient to interact effectively with patients, instruct students, and provide technical supervision to staff technologists.

Compensation Range

$31.42–$46.69 per hour. This range is based on the minimum job qualifications, but total compensation may include benefits such as medical, dental, vision, pharmacy, flexible spending accounts, 403(b) savings matches, earned time cash out, paid time off, career advancement opportunities, and resources to support employee and family well‑being.
