Job summary

PCC Structurals in Portland, OR is seeking a Radiographer to operate x-ray equipment and produce radiographs that meet customer and PCC specifications. You will set up castings, adjust tube voltage and exposure, review Technique Cards, and maintain Film/IP handling, while training less experienced radiographers and supporting audits.

You will routinely verify image quality, log exposures, and help document changes to Technique Cards to ensure compliance with PCC specifications.

Qualifications

• Radiography skills demonstrated by the competent performance of all duties.
• High school graduation or GED is required for NDTE certification.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Ability to read, follow and interpret Technique Cards and manuals.
• Effective written and verbal communication.
• Physical ability to perform essential job functions.

Responsibilities

• Operate x-ray machines to take multiple views within specifications.
• Review Technique Cards to determine setup requirements and exposure parameters.
• Maintain Film/IP handling and cassettes and log changes to cards.
• Develop best practice setup for new techniques and audit readiness.
• Meet production and quality standards and train others as needed.
• Observe safety rules and promptly report safety issues.
