Job summary

Atlantic Health Morristown Medical Center in Morristown, NJ seeks a Radiographer to perform diagnostic imaging under the direction of a Radiologist. You will generate high-quality x-ray images and prepare patient records as required.

The role requires graduation from an accredited radiography program, NJ RT license, ARRT certification, and BLS. 0–3 years of experience is preferred; familiarity with hospital imaging workflows is a plus.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited Radiography School.
• 0-3 years of experience as a Radiographer or relevant area.
• NJ State Radiologic Technologist (RT) license.
• ARRT Certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs imaging and treatment processes per guidelines and professional standards.
• Operates and maintains imaging equipment, including setup, utilization, troubleshooting and sanitization.
• Obtains patient history, explains procedures, and addresses patient questions.
• Maintains equipment and monitors safety and comfort during procedures.
• Coordinates daily imaging procedures and determines need for revisions.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
