Job summary

MISTRAS Group seeks a qualified NDT RT Technician, full-time, in Jacksonville, FL. The role focuses on radiographic inspections, setting up RT equipment, interpreting results, and maintaining records in industrial environments.

The candidate should have prior radiographic testing experience and a strong commitment to safety, quality, and technical excellence. Outage, maintenance, and project support are part of duties, with flexible shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous industrial radiography experience required.
• State card and/or IRRSP certification preferred where applicable.
• Strong understanding of radiographic testing techniques and safety standards.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, procedures, and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in team environments.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform Radiographic Testing (RT) inspections in accordance with approved procedures and standards.
• Set up, calibrate, and operate RT equipment.
• Interpret radiographic images and evaluate indications.
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes, specifications, and quality requirements.
• Prepare accurate inspection reports and documentation.
• Follow all radiation safety and company safety procedures.
• Maintain inspection equipment and records.
• Work closely with supervisors, customers, and project teams.
• Support outage, maintenance, fabrication, and inspection projects.
• Support additional NDT methods as needed.
• Work overtime, weekends, nights, and varying shifts as project demands require.
