Job summary

MISTRAS Group, Inc. is seeking an experienced NDT RT Technician to perform radiographic inspections and evaluate weld quality in accordance with applicable codes and customer specs.

Ideal candidate has industrial radiography experience, strong safety awareness, and the ability to interpret radiographs for weld integrity. Responsibilities include performing RT inspections, setting up and operating RT equipment, interpreting images, identifying weld defects, and preparing accurate inspection

Qualifications

• Industrial radiography experience required.
• Level II RT certification required.
• Must have valid State Card and TWIC Card.
• Able to read drawings, procedures and specs.

Responsibilities

• Perform Radiographic Testing (RT) inspections on welded components and assets.
• Set up, calibrate and operate RT equipment.
• Interpret radiographs and evaluate weld quality.
• Identify weld discontinuities and verify compliance with codes.
• Prepare inspection reports and documentation.
• Follow radiation safety procedures and work on outages or travel as needed.
