Job summary

MISTRAS Group is seeking an experienced NDT RT Technician for full-time work in Savannah, GA. The role focuses on radiographic testing, interpreting results, and maintaining detailed documentation in industrial environments.

A strong commitment to safety, quality, and technical excellence is essential. Ideal candidates will have prior radiographic testing experience, the ability to set up RT equipment, and the skills to read and interpret indications.

Qualifications

• Current Level II RT certification preferred
• Industrial radiography experience required
• State card and/or IRRSP certification preferred where applicable
• Strong understanding of radiographic testing techniques and safety standards
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, procedures, and specifications
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in team environments
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform Radiographic Testing (RT) inspections in accordance with approved procedures and standards
• Set up, calibrate, and operate RT equipment
• Interpret radiographic images and evaluate indications
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes, specifications, and quality requirements
• Prepare accurate inspection reports and documentation
• Follow all radiation safety and company safety procedures
• Maintain inspection equipment and records
• Work closely with supervisors, customers, and project teams
• Support outage, maintenance, fabrication, and inspection projects
• Support additional NDT methods as needed
• Work overtime, weekends, nights, and varying shifts as project demands require
