Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Radiology Technologist for the department at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital. This full-time AM shift role requires 40 hours per week, with every other weekend, holidays and on-call duties.

Responsibilities include operating x-ray and fluoroscopic equipment, assisting radiologists, and maintaining imaging systems. ARRT registration, CPR certification, and appropriate radiology education are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiology program.
• Certificate or Associate degree in Radiology Technology.
• 1 year experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Operates x-ray equipment to produce radiographs as directed by physician.
• Manoeuvres portable radiographic equipment in patient care areas and in surgery.
• Operates fluoroscopic equipment and c-arms and assists during exams.
• Performs radiographic procedures in surgery as required.
• Maintains Digital Imaging System components and labels radiographs per standards.
