Job summary

Boston Children's Hospital is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform routine imaging in Diagnostic Radiology on a scheduled and emergency basis, adhering to QC/Exam Data Integrity workflows.

The role requires an Associate degree in Radiologic Technology, MA Radiographer license and ARRT certification, with a Bachelor’s degree preferred. Training in Diagnostic Radiology and strong patient communication are valued. This is an on-site position with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Radiologic Technology required.

• Experience in Diagnostic Radiology training.

Responsibilities

• Reviews requisitions and determines appropriateness for diagnostic imaging.
• Identify patients using two identifiers as per policy.
• Selects appropriate equipment and technical factors.
• Assesses patient/parent status and develops a care plan.
• Explain examinations and address questions on radiation exposure (ALARA).
• Follows QC/Data Integrity Workflow.
• Practices High Reliability Training.
