Job summary

Boston Children's Hospital in Massachusetts seeks a Diagnostic Radiology Technologist to perform routine and complex imaging examinations on a scheduled and emergency basis, following departmental QC/Exam Data Integrity workflows. Qualifications

• Associates degree required; Bachelors preferred.
• 3 years of experience in Diagnostic Radiology.
• Current MA Radiologic Technologist license.
• ARRT certification.
• BLS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex radiology examinations with emphasis on patient safety.
• Review requisitions and determine appropriateness of procedures.
• Identify patients using two identifiers.
• Explain the exam and radiation exposure, following ALARA.
• Follow QC/Data Integrity workflows and ETU requirements.
• Train fellows, residents, students and staff in imaging procedures.
• Lead daily operations and support departmental initiatives.
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with HIPAA.
