Boston Children’s Hospital is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform routine CT imaging on scheduled and emergency basis, following departmental QC/Exam Data Integrity Workflow Expectations. The role includes selecting equipment and technical factors to identify pathology and maintain patient safety under ALARA.

The position requires an Associate degree (Bachelor’s preferred), 1 year of CT experience, ARRT RT/CT certification, and BLS.

Qualifications

• Education: Associates degree, Allied Health. Bachelors degree preferred.
• Experience: 1 year of experience working as a Radiologic Technologist
• Licensure/ Certifications: 1. RT/CT registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). 2. Must meet, successfully complete, and maintain the ARRT certification. 3. BLS certification.

Responsabilités

• Performs routine imaging examinations in CT on a scheduled and emergency basis.
• Reviews and evaluates requisitions for CT imaging procedures, abstracting data from patient charts and determining appropriateness of procedure prescribed given diagnosis and clinical signs for CT examinations.
• Identify patients according to Hospital Policy with 2 identifiers.
• Performs basic imaging analysis (e.g. 3D).
• Selects appropriate equipment and technical factors to identify pathologic and normal anatomy.
