Job summary

Michigan Rad is seeking a Radiographer to perform imaging procedures using radiologic equipment to produce diagnostic X-rays and high-quality patient images. The role involves preparing records, assisting radiologists, and ensuring patient safety and comfort.

The ideal candidate will be a graduate of an accredited radiography program with NJ RT license, ARRT certification, and BLS. 0–3 years of radiography experience is preferred, with opportunities to work across our hospital facilities.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited radiography school.
• Must hold NJ State Radiologic Technologist (RT) license.
• Must have ARRT certification.
• BLS certification required.
• 0–3 years of experience as a Radiographer or in a related area.

Responsibilities

• Perform imaging and treatment procedures per state, federal and professional guidelines.
• Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain imaging equipment; ensure proper care and sanitization.
• Obtain patient history, explain procedures and address questions.
• Maintain equipment safety and patient comfort during procedures.
• Coordinate daily imaging procedures; monitor need for procedure revisions.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
