Job summary

Cumulus Media in Eugene, Oregon is seeking a Sales Assistant to support the advertising sales team and act as a liaison between clients and internal departments. This role provides administrative support and helps drive successful media campaigns.

You will organize orders, assist with proposals, and maintain up-to-date sales materials while collaborating with Account Executives and traffic teams. A strong communicator with multitasking skills will thrive in this fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of sales, marketing, advertising or promotions experience preferred.
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office; ability to adapt to proprietary systems.
• Background in radio station continuity or sales helpful.
• Detail oriented, organized, with excellent written and spoken communication; strong multitasking.
• Dependable with a strong work ethic and team player attitude.
• Ability to interact with management and staff at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Act as liaison between the sales team, clients and internal departments.
• Organize and input new and revised orders; assist in creating sales proposals and campaigns; provide customer care.
• Assist Account Executives with orders and traffic as needed.
• Prepare and assemble reports and presentations.
• Provide research materials using Tapscan, Media Monitors, Scarborough, etc.
