Job summary

Victus Networks is seeking an engineer to drive radio network design, planning, and optimization. You will report to the RAN Design Evolution Manager and handle site rollout planning, KPI-driven design, and ongoing performance monitoring, contributing to cutting-edge 5G projects.

You should have a degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, deep GSM/UMTS/LTE/5G knowledge, and hands-on experience with Atoll and Huawei RAN HW, plus strong English communication skills and at least 2 years in

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
• In-depth knowledge of GSM, UMTS, LTE and 5G.
• Experience with planning tools such as Atoll.
• Strong knowledge of Radio Network Design, Planning and Dimensioning.
• Knowledge of Radio Functionalities, Parameters and KPIs.
• Experience with Huawei RAN HW.
• Excellent oral and written communication in English; Greek language skills preferred.
• At least 2 years of working experience.
• Customer-oriented and proactive; able to work in a team.
• MS Windows and MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Radio Network Design & Planning for assigned areas.
• Common design for both networks in Sharing Areas considering KPIs and budgets.
• New Radio Sites rollout plan and prioritization based on radio, commercial needs and customer feedback.
• Site configuration knowledge and involvement in optimization or introducing new technologies (LTE, 5G).

About The Role

The job holder will be reporting to the RAN Design Evolution Manager and will be responsible for radio network planning, optimization and performance monitoring.

Key accountabilities

• Responsible for the Radio Network Design & Planning for the areas assigned.
• Common design for both networks in Sharing Areas considering KPIs accomplishment and budget guidelines
• New Radio Sites Rollout plan and priorities based on Radio and Commercial needs, sites’ deactivation impact and customer complaints.
• Site’s configuration knowledge and involvement / contribution to any optimisation initiatives or insertion of new technologies in the Network (i.e. LTE,5G)

What You Will Bring?

• Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent
• In depth knowledge and understanding of GSM,UMTS,LTE & 5G technologies
• Planning tool use/experience (Atoll, other)
• Knowledge of Radio Network Design, Planning & Dimensioning Principles depth knowledge
• Knowledge of Radio Functionalities, Parameters and basic Performance Indicators
• Knowledge/Experience on Huawei RAN HW
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in both Greek and English language
• At least 2 year working experience
• Enthusiastic and passionate, with a strong customer orientation
• Very good knowledge of MS Windows – MS Office
• Driving License for regular field /site visits
