Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Marietta, GA is seeking an RF Systems Architect to design and develop RF circuitry for high frequency and microwave applications, including receivers, transmitters and antennas. You will lead hardware layout, prototype testing, and performance verification, while supporting manufacturing during assembly and test phases.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in RF Engineering, a related STEM discipline or equivalent experience/combined education.
  • Knowledgeable of Communication systems to include radios, antennas, and/or other related subsystems.
  • Experience with Ansys suite of RF analysis tools.

Responsibilities

  • Architect and design RF systems and circuitry for high frequency and microwave applications, including receivers, transmitters, antennas and synthesizers.
  • Develop RF system/subsystem architectures and perform trade studies and optimization.
  • Prepare test methods and specifications; analyze RF hardware to verify performance characteristics.
  • Support manufacturing during deliverable assembly and test and assist with Life Cycle costs, reliability, and maintainability analyses.

Basic Qualifications

  • Knowledgeable of Communication systems to include radios, antennas, and/or other related communication subsystems.
  • Experience with Ansys suite of RF analysis tools
Desired Skills
  • Experience with design, development, and integration of Communication systems
  • Proficient in system engineering processes
  • Experience with RF analysis; Co-site, Antenna Pattern, and Link budgets
  • Knowledge of Military and/or Government programs
  • Experience with C-130 platform
Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $98100.00 - $182100.00

PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
