Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Fort Worth, TX is seeking an RF Systems Architect to design and develop RF circuitry for high-frequency and microwave applications. You will lead hardware layouts, prototype testing, and optimization, while interfacing with product development and manufacturing for successful delivery.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Electronics Engineering or related field, hardware/supplier management experience, and a US citizenship with ability to obtain a government security clearance.

Qualifications

• Experienced with requirements and specifications for the development of avionic hardware.

Responsibilities

• Architects and designs RF systems and circuitry for high frequency and microwave applications.
• Designs and develops RF circuitry, including receivers, transmitters, antennas, and frequency synthesizers.
• Responsible for hardware layout, component evaluation, prototype construction, and test.
• Provides inputs to Product Development for formal documentation and supports manufacturing during deliverable assembly and test phase.
• Develops RF system architectures consisting of antennas, transmitters, receivers, low noise amplifiers, high power amplifiers, RF conversion elements and transmission line equipment.
• Performs link analysis and optimization including propagation medium and interference sources.
• Develops and allocates RF system and subsystem requirements.
• Identifies and tracks RF TPMs.
• Performs RF system/subsystem/component trade studies and CAIV analysis.
• Supports Life Cycle Costs, reliability, availability, and maintainability analysis.

Performs link analysis and optimization, including effects of propagation medium and possible interference sources. Develops and allocates RF system and subsystem functional and performance requirements. Identifies and tracks RF technical performance measurements (TPMs). Performs RF system/subsystem/component trade studies and CAIV analysis. Supports Life Cycle Costs, reliability, availability, and maintainability analysis.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $98100.00 - $182100.00
